"Pam" is really struggling with her hormones. She is determined, even if the male gene pool around her is as deep as a puddle in the Arizona desert in July, to get laid. What now ensues follows her on a series of escapades where she finds herself tantalisingly close to her goal - only to, well chop things short. It's not that her spirit isn't willing, it's that somewhere even deeper inside her than her longing there is an annoying element of self respect that stops her from taking the plunge with geeks, dweebs or snobs all after the same quickie as her. Is she becoming desperate? Well yes. Well no. What's more, the more acommodating her would be suitors prove to be the less she finds shaggable about them. The floor of the broom cupboard in the cinema might be the final straw and maybe she ought just to give up - unless, perhaps, she can finally alight on someone just that little bit normal who might have been way closer to home all along. What chance, though? The animation is all pretty standard here, but the writing is what helps this stand out. It doesn't just wallow in the stereotypical, though there is a bit of that, but instead provides us with an observation from a feminine perspective that shows women to be just as sexually curious and desirous as any of her testicularly challenged contemporaries. Isn't it odd that so many words for penis - dick, cock, prick, knob - are also disparaging terms for their owners, too?
