68/100 An amateur sleuth, her reluctant girlfriend and her brother, stay at the Carmichael Manor... a place with a murderous and mysterious past. I'm not a big fan of the Hell House series - they're fine - but this one really impressed me. The pacing was great and I never felt there was any wasted time. Margot's unreasonable obsession to continue despite scary events contrasts directly with her girl friend, Rebecca, who was genuinely terrified and panicked. Great spooks including a body-on-a-bed jump scare that I will not soon forget. Nice! - DrNostromo.com
